Scholarship is a kind of fund, which is given by government, organization, private banks, person etc. It is a kind of opportunity for the poor students, who are excellent in exam, spots, and other fields. It is mainly for the poor students for continuing his/her education. Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship is a kind of fund of scholarship which is given by the Embassy of India. It is for the grade XI students for continuing his/her education. Indian Embassy gives this opportunity mainly to Nepalese poor and orphan students. It's form will be open in next year
Eligibility
- Candidates should be Nepalese citizens
- Candidates should be regular students of XI students and the GPA RANK of students should be minimum 3.00(2.88)
- The average income of his/her family should be 1,20,000/- and it is proved or certify by the CDO/VDC head
- Candidates should be between 14-20 years of his age
Amount of Scholarship
The selected students will get 2000/- per month in first year. This will be continued in the second year if the students get above 50% marks in his/her XI result. If the students marks is below 50%, then the scholarship will be discontinued.
Selection Process
- Based on the student's academic record
- The candidates should be register his/her name in the Indian embassy website. And the candidates should indicates their name, address, telephone number, g-mail id, contact number in the online data sheet.
- Girls, Orphan, Dalit, students from remote areas are strongly encourage to apply this scholarship
- The children of Nepalese and Indian soldiers, are selected if the required certificate of his/her father are send through the Assistant Military Attaché(welfare).

- You should have sign in your google id in google and you should be open the Indian Embassy Website
- In this website you can see the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship 2019/20, then you should click there and you get the form of the scholarship
- Then you can type your g-mail id, phone number, address, guardians name, etc as per the requirement.
- Then you should upload your photograph, certificate of your family income, army certificate of your father's etc. in the form of the scholarship and you should be attempt all the papers, which are required for the scholarship, qualification, Eligibility before the deadline date
